The prana vayus are subtle movements of energy within our body that are influenced by our lifestyle and our habits. When we’re feeling depleted or not ourselves, we can consider which vayu could be a bit under supported and use that information to tailor our practices. In this workshop, we’ll blend theory and practice through a mix of movement, education, and observation.

Julia is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and functional breathing instructor. She first fell in love with an ambitious asana practice in her late teens and found a love for the philosophy and metaphysics of yoga and meditation in early adulthood. Armed with a healthy dose of compassion, a smile, and teaching experience with bodies of every age and ability, she is able to meet you where you’re at and help you further your practice and understanding of yoga. Julia currently teaches hot vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga, chair yoga, yoga for collegiate athletes, yin yoga, yoga nidra, and meditation.
